Les Tramuntana Tech Talks, són una iniciativa nascuda el 2016 basada en un conjunt de xerrades gratuïtes per a emprenedors, startups i públic en general interessat a conèixer noves fórmules de negoci, i experiència d'èxit al sector de la tecnologia i la innovació. En edicions anteriors hem comptat amb la participació de socis i professionals amb experiència en llançaments d'empreses de molt èxit al sector com Amazon, Destinia, Cabify, Wallapop, BlaBlaCar o Redpoints (entre moltes altres).
Aquestes conferències se celebren al Parc Bit i al Centre Bit Menorca durant el mes de novembre. S'hi tracten temes rellevants dins del món de les empreses innovadores de recent creació com són: estratègies de creixement, l'organització de recursos i equips, consells per preparar una empresa abans d'iniciar una ronda de finançament, i molts altres temes d'interès per als qui estiguin llançant el seu projecte, o per als que simplement tenen interès a aprendre sobre aquests temes, aprenent de primera mà i sobre experiències reals recents.
Aquesta iniciativa és desenvolupada per la Fundació Balear d'Innovació i Tecnologia per encàrrec de la Direcció General d'Innovació i Transformació Digital, entitat dependent de la Conselleria d'Economia, Hisenda i Innovació del Govern de les Illes Balears.
Joan Pina is an entrepreneur and investor specializing in SaaS B2B startups enabled by artificial intelligence. He is a partner in Abac Nest, the venture capital vehicle of Abac Capital, from where he has led more than 30 investments in high-potential technology projects, including Cobee, Payflow, Taxdown, Amphora, Konvo, Galtea and Anyformat.
Before his time as an investor, Joan founded and ran several startups such as LetsBonus, Coverfy, Shoppiday and Wondy. At LetsBonus, he was the largest shareholder and CEO for five years, taking the company to 7 countries and exceeding 250 employees.
His background combines operational experience as a founder with a strategic vision as an investor, focused on scalable models with clear competitive advantages. In addition, it actively collaborates with acceleration programs and supports new founders in the initial stages.
In his talk, Joan will share the key learnings from having been on both sides of the table: founding, investing and helping startups grow in environments of high uncertainty.
